About Lincs Inspire Ltd

Lincs Inspire Limited is a registered charity working across Lincolnshire and committed to inspiring people to lead more active and healthy lives through a wide range of sporting, leisure, cultural and learning services.

Lincs Inspire works in partnership with local authorities, managing a range of services and facilities, including statutory libraries, public archives, cultural venues and complimentary community arts and health improvement services, as well as providing a diverse sporting and leisure facilities portfolio.

Since April 2018, Lincs Inspire has worked in partnership with North Kesteven District Council to manage the ever popular Whisby Natural World Centre, nestled within the wonderful Whisby Nature Park, lovingly cared for by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. In addition Lincs Inspire is also very proud to manage the National Centre for Craft and Design, based in the centre of Sleaford and showcasing a diverse and inspiring exhibition programme, celebrating craft and design expertise from around the world and on our doorstep.

The charity is governed by a board of trustees who are all passionate about the services we deliver and are committed to our aims and objectives which are focused on improving community health and wellbeing. This is supported by a passion to inspire local people to achieve their aspirations, develop new skills, keep active, meet people and have fun!

Whisby Natural World Centre attracts visitors and the local community, providing a relaxing facility for all the whole family, including welcoming our doggie friends too. Both the outdoor and indoor play areas are great for little ones wanting to explore and be active, whilst adults can enjoy a relaxing drink or something to eat, ideal after a good walk through the nature reserve.
